Module Aims

• To enable students to undertake a detailed study of an engineering problem.
• To provide students with the opportunity to manage a project.
• To further develop the communication skills of students.

Content Summary

This module develops the students ability to use the knowledge and skills that they have developed at work and/or on the course to complete a realistic work project. It aims to integrate the skills and knowledge developed in other modules within a major piece of work that reflects the type of performance expected of a higher technician at work. This module will facilitate the development of Personal Development Planning through the delivery of the key skills identified below in the module descriptor.
