The module aims to provide fundamental knowledge and understanding of quality and environment control and their management

Content Summary

Environment - Introduction to all matters of the environment and management of the environment, including a brief outline of ISO 14001. Students should examine aspects of environment including principles, reviews, waste minimisation and audits. Including an examination of UK environmental law.

Quality – Introduction studies to examine aspects of quality and quality management. This study would outline areas such as British and International standards, business improvement strategy(e.g. Six Sigma) and quality costs.
