To develop an understanding of the management of the production and marketing of fruit and vegetable crops in the UK. Learners will also develop their skills in the context of the establishment and husbandry of crops;

To prepare and plan schedules for the production and establishment of fruit and vegetable crops;

To recognise pests, diseases, disorders and weeds;

To develop an understanding of planning harvest dates.
