Module Aims
To enable learners to understand how organisational aims and objectives can be achieved through focused and well considered business planning. Learners will also need to understand how organisational structure, staff selection, development and retention can promote and maintain excellent customer service.
Content Summary
People in Organisations: To enable the learner to understand the features of formal organisations; the importance of recruitment, selection and training; and the role and importance of motivation in a business.
Business - Customer Service: To enable the learner to understand the benefits of good customer service, and the tools and techniques necessary to provide excellent customer service.
Preparing a Business Plan: To enable the learner to understand the considerations that need to be taken into account when proposing a new or existing business plan.
