Module Aims

The module aims to provide students with an understanding of built environment principles through focusing on and recognizing the importance of key themes. The module introduces several of the taught elements from Level 4 and allows students an opportunity to build a portfolio of work demonstrating these embedded themes and supporting topics around professionalism and Personal Development.

Content Summary

Appreciation of the feasibility of the project and the contribution made by various participants to a residential housing development.

Understanding key elements within the Built Environment courses including topics studied at level 4 with an additional focus on Health & Safety and Sustainability

Appreciation of the format and content of professional reports and presentations, including key skills related to academic endeavor and the Built Environment Professional.

This module will facilitate the development of Personal Development Planning through the delivery of the key skills identified below in the module descriptor.
