Develop an in-depth understanding of the presentation, investigation and management of thoracic malignancy and pleural disease

Content Summary

1) Lung cancer – screening, red flags, solitary pulmonary nodules

2) Lung cancer – diagnosis and staging

3) Lung cancer - treatments

4) Asbestos related pleural disease

5) Pleural effusion and pneumothorax

6) The interface and ethics (MDT, working across boundaries, communicating difficult diagnoses, when to stop treatment)
