Module Aims

The aim of the module is to:

• Understand and apply classical and contemporary learning theory concepts to practice building on existing knowledge and understanding of educational entitlement and provision.
• Analyse factors that influence the educational progress of children and young people
• Critically evaluate and apply up to date research; demonstrating an understanding of the methods used and the implications of the results for their practice
• Explore theories of leadership, management and change and apply these to practice
