Module Aims

The aim of this module is to:
• provide students with the opportunity to further reflect and develop their work-based practice in relation to working in children and young people’s services.
• Participate and evidence work placement hours and CPD activity

Content Summary

This module will enable the student to further develop effective skills of reflection and action planning, through the application of advanced knowledge to practice. It includes taking responsibility for exercising autonomy and judgment by reflecting on different perspectives, approaches or schools of thought and reasoning behind them. Evidence of the importance of continuing professional development will be emphasised throughout the module.
