Module Aims

To develop the student’s study, reasoning, observation, reflection and learning skills. To introduce the student to the importance of clear and concise communication. To develop the skills and attributes which underpin professional development and behaviour. To develop the student’s ability to formulate views concerning contemporary healthcare issues.  

Content Summary

The module provides the students with the academic/educational framework within which to begin the process of developing verbal and written communication skills required of a chiropractor in a modern healthcare environment. General study skills, learning styles and presentation skills. Personal and professional development. The importance of literate report writing. A variety of contemporary issues that may influence chiropractic practice.
