Module Aims

This module aims to enable students to critically evaluate an area of art psychotherapy practice in depth whilst utilising reflexive and research skills, and to continue their practice based learning. The aims are to build upon students’ clinical experience and knowledge of evidence based practice to enable them to meet all required Standards of Proficiency for Arts Therapists as outlined by the HCPC.

Further development of effective practice skills to respond to therapeutic needs across a range of client groups, including those with complex needs

Further development of ability to apply art psychotherapy theory to practice
