Module Aims
To develop an understanding of theories of wellbeing and mental health and the relationship between these.
To familiarise students with the evidence-base for counselling interventions in mental health and their contribution to the recovery of wellbeing.
Content Summary

The concepts of happiness, unhappiness and depression.
Problematic anxiety and depression.
Client problems with interpersonal relationships.

Long-term and chronic health issues and conditions.
