Module Aims
To promote cyclical reflective learning and innovation in professional development through self-evaluation and the utilization of evidence from individual practice to support professional growth and aid in continued professional revalidation.
To support learning activities to facilitate the student to meet their individual learning needs through a process of lectures, tutorials and independent study by compilation of a professional portfolio of evidence.
To provide students with the structure to compile a career long portfolio of evidence to facilitate professional development and revalidation and disseminate to appropriate audiences.
Content Summary
The content of this module will be student directed via submission of a reflective professional portfolio but will reflect the four Pillars of Advanced Practice: Management and Leadership, Education, Research and Advanced Clinical Practice and the Enhanced/Advanced/Consultant agenda (HEIW, 2022,NLIAH 2010).
This module includes mandatory formative assessment activities, to support students learning and development prior to summative assessment tasks.
