Module Aims

To critically evaluate current research and development (including international perspectives) relating to (a) theories of effective learning teaching and assessment for more able and talented (MAT) learners and (b) the effective management of these.

To critically examine the design and delivery of a challenging curriculum, including opportunities for enhancement and enrichment, to ensure that provision for MAT learners is relevant and fit for purpose.

To support (a) the critical evaluation of whole school provision for MAT and (b) the development of an action plan for improvement.
