The module aims are:

To engage students in the process of management consultancy, specifically responding to a given brief from a hospitality business

Content Summary

The key focus of the module is that students understand the role of a consultant. Following will be the main topics:

• Data Collection and analysis
• Introduction to relevant research methodologies
• Consulting tools, skills and techniques
• Understanding and responding to client
needs
• Interpreting client briefs
• Managing client engagement and relationships Consultancy report writing and presentation of findings and recommendations.
