Module Aims
To support students to critically analyse and evaluate theory, policy, processes and practice in relation to the leadership and management of school improvement.
To support students in analysis of performance data.
To support students in the leading and managing of a cluster/school based project which has measurable impact.
To support students in disseminating their chosen school improvement project to both an internal and external audience.
Content Summary
Develop and lead a school/cluster based project which has measurable impact on pupil performance or secures better pupil engagement with their learning.
Understand the distinctive yet collaborative role of leading and managing an initiative within a school/cluster to improve whole school/cluster practice.
Understand how data can be used effectively to support school improvement.
Understand how recent legislation impacts on classroom practice and how different schools have responded in different ways to the challenges presented.

C) Learning Log; To record and reflect on progress/challenges and salient points in their development and learning from leadership of their project.
