Module Aims
• Develop the students understanding of the stages of the research process.
• Develop the student’s skills in the use of Information Technology (IT) to search and access research literature.
• Facilitate the student’s progression in understanding and working with research with practice.
Content Summary
Students will be helped to develop general study skills in searching and retrieval of literature and other information sources.
Different types of evidence will be explored and discussed how they relate to professional practice. The students will be introduced to evidence based terminology. The content will address citing literature correctly. An overview of the research process will also be addressed.
