Module Aims
To engage students in key basic concepts and technologies, which are fundamental to the current practice of sports photography and photojournalism
Students will develop a broad framework in conceptual, technical and creative skills, which will inform their ability to interpret a given brief and to identify and evaluate specific and relevant areas of photographic practice.
Content Summary
Practical module. Engage students in key basic concepts and technologies, including using SLR and mobile phones, which are fundamental to the practice of photography.
This module introduces the fundamentals of photographic practice and the importance of sequencing in the development of visual stories, which is vital to successful sports photography. Students will be encouraged to follow live briefs, including during matches and competitions, which allow them to tell and enhance the stories they produce.
