Module Aims

Develop essential skills of sports reporting in a live or as live environment and across a range of platforms.
Enable students to reflect critically on their practice.

Content Summary

Building on the basic skills learned at Level Four, students will enhance their knowledge via a series of live and deadline-driven reporting days which will enable them to develop article/feature ideas suitable for a range of sports publications and outlets; source information, conduct research and carry out effective interviews to a specific brief and deadline via a range of mediums, including TV, radio and online as well as print. The sports teams located at our Sports Park will provide rich content for this module.
