Module Aims

To engage students in sustained, critical and evaluative research within a specific area of Buddhist Studies.

To provide a supportive and critically effective tutorial relationship to encourage structured, steady and satisfactory progression in knowledge, research skills and outcomes.

To meet the needs of students who wish to develop an in-depth understanding of Buddhism from the basis of knowledge developed over the MA Buddhist Studies programme.

Content Summary

The MA Buddhist Studies Dissertation offers students the opportunity to conduct in-depth research into a relevant aspect of Buddhist Studies, resulting in an extended piece of writing on the negotiated topic.
