Module Aims

The module aims to:-


Advanced the students understanding of the sports science principles that underpin coaching practice and to
apply coaching skills in practice in a range of contexts.

Content Summary

This module will build on the theoretical knowledge and practical skills taught within the Level 4 coaching
modules. Teaching in this module will continue to use both theoretical and practical learning mediums to advance
students coaching knowledge and practical skill delivery. As a result, the students will be expected to use their
advanced knowledge and coaching skills to plan and deliver practical sports sessions to a wide range of specific
populations.
