The Research Project itself will comprise of a substantial practical work-based piece of research designed and implemented by graduates in consultation with placement organisations and University Tutor. The project provides a major opportunity for participants to apply learning they have achieved throughout the course, in particular from a critique of the relevant academic and professional literature, to a practical issue of relevance and concern. Essentially, the project is a practically-focused academic dissertation and to support it, graduates will learn about different approaches to research and methods, the ethics around their choice of subject area and the issues involved in undertaking research.
