To give the student a detailed knowledge of the theoretical aspects of propeller construction, control, operation, maintenance and storage.

Content Summary

This module examines the theory and construction that lies behind propellers and their systems, including Pitch Control, Synchronising & Synchrophasing and Ice protection. The module includes the analysis and application of Propeller Maintenance, Storage & Preservation theories.
