Module Aims

This module will provide students with a basic understanding of the soft tissue therapeutic skills and their application. Introducing basic anatomy and body structure. This module provides the basis for students to continue their Chiropractic clinical skill development. 

Content Summary

Anatomy and Physiology of the Skeletal/Muscular/Skin/Vascular/lymphatic systems. 

History of massage/definition of massage/ manual techniques and their effects. 

Treatment environment 

Indications and contraindications of manual techniques. 

Physical assessment and practical soft tissue techniques
