Module Aims

Establish sound practices of collaborative working requirements and team working expectations through a series of lectures and direct team production experience.

Ensure students are aware of film production’s reliance on collaborative working.

Gain practical understanding and experience of production pipelines, and specifically their role and responsibilities within it.

Imitate contemporary industry scenarios.

Content Summary

The purpose of this module is to provide the opportunity for students to experience a collaborative activity and utilise the masters level skills and knowledge developed on the course.

Lectures will cover the following collaborative working topics:

  • Collaborative working and ensuring team successful complete assigned task.
  • Working in a team with a common goal.
  • Understanding Production Pipelines for film-based productions.
  • Working to deadline, and impact of poor project scheduling and time management.
  • Budgetary concerns.
  • Production team hierarchies.
  • Maintaining project enthusiasm and team motivation.
  • Maintaining or improving company/employers reputation.
