Module Aims

The aim of the module is to provide students with the opportunity to develop the vocational skills required of individuals within the sports industry.

To integrate and demonstrate professional skills, knowledge and understanding by relating theory to professional practice.

Content Summary

Students will undertake professional practice activities and training with the Host/Partner organisation.

The content of this module will enable a student to develop those vocational skills associated with being a competent practitioner.

The module will allow students to reflect on relevant vocational skills that are required to conduct specific roles and responsibilities within the sports industry and apply theoretical models of coaching and reflection to their own practice.

Students will be monitored by USW and Partner staff throughout the duration of this module
