Module Aims

To enable students to produce the production design scheme for a large budget feature film or high end TV Drama.

To provide students with an opportunity to design for the scale, ambition and scope of featurefilm.

To develop students understanding of features by analysing the design development in relation to action.

Content Summary

Driven through storyline and action, each student will produce a feasible production design scheme which indicates the ambition and scale of build required from a feature film.

Each student will choose a book from which to base their Major Project and then provide a thorough analysis of their intended design scheme. The text will be broken down, architectural research and reference will be developed and embedded within the design process.

This module contains a six week Immersive Learning element.
