Module Aims
This module aims to build on the essential skills developed in the first and second years to allow students to producemulti-media news to a professional level.It will also allow students to consider their learning in a professional, reflective and reflexive way.

Reflective writing
The module will be formed of some classes on skills and feedback, with the bulk of it formed of newsdays, producing news every day for the project (sometimes single- media, sometimes multi-media). The students will be placed on a rota over the period, working full 8-hour days to fulfill the number of hours required by the module and the newsday requirement of the BJTC (Broadcast Journalism Training Council) (15 days).
Lecturers will provide robust and constant feedback throughout the project. Gaps in knowledge will be filled by workshop sessions during the period of the module.
