Module Aims
Organisations are obliged to compete with one another to secure and retain the services of a skilled workforce in global labour markets that are in a constant state of flux, the overarching aims are to:
- provide a holistic view of the employment lifecycle.
- introduce the key operational tools, techniques and practices that organisations use to resource their organisations effectively.
- consider the role played by, and the impact of appropriate learning and development interventions on the retention of an effective workforce.
- understand the way different organisations manage these activities and consider which are the most effective in the context of diverse and distributed locations.
- examine what is required to support the learning of individuals groups and organisations to drive sustained business performance through insight-driven strategic and operational activity.
- Strategic approaches that organisations (of different sizes) take to position themselves as employers in the labour market and able to meet current and anticipated skills needs
