Module Aims

To enable students to choose to study an area of law or a subject of legal significance and to acquire a depth of understanding of the selected aspect of law through independent research and study.

Content Summary

Unique to the individual student in terms of knowledge and understanding, the area of study is limited to staff sponsorship in an area of specialism within the School to ensure a strong appraisal of the subject area. Students are expected to engage with the appropriate member of staff prior to and during their independent research.
