Module Aims

This module is designed to bring together the knowledge and understanding built over the previous two years and applying it to a real life live project. The module will enable students to identify the key employability skills, knowledge and experience they have gained over the previous two years of their degree and effectively complete graduate applications.

The first part of the module will be an immersive learning project where students with be required to research graduate opportunities and apply for these opportunities. Students will be supported during this time by the employability team to identify opportunities and refine their applications.

The second part of the module will enable students to apply the knowledge and understanding they have already gained in a real life setting, working on a live project. This will develop their graduate attributes and they will role play the application process, applying for different roles in the consulting team, where they will gain the experience of interviewing and being interviewed under the employability teams guidance.

In their consulting teams they will then work with external partners on a live project, building their graduate attributes. During this time we will re-visit their CV’s and discuss how they can use the live project to evidence their graduate attributes.

Students will be expected to keep a diary of the career enhancement sessions they have attended and applications they have made throughout the module.
