Module Aims

Comply with legal/regulatory requirements for surveying and understand health and safety in relation to building surveying regulations and guidance.

Recognise statutory control of Building Works, including Building and Planning Acts within the country of practice.

Content Summary

This module covers a range of building control issues focusing on the legislation relating to the enforcement of planning and building controls. Students will be able to identify breaches and disputes; and provide advice on compliance and remedies.
