Module Aims

This module will give a solid foundation in the concepts of 3D modelling, texturing and lighting as well as introduce the more fundamental knowledge of compositing.

Content Summary

3D fundamentals including modelling techniques, texturing and lighting processes within the 3D world. This will also look at the world of advertising and how CG can be used in a motion design sense.

CG integration that looks at the ways CG elements can be integrated into live, still footage or photography to truly make it photorealistic and believable within it’s surroundings by looking at shadows, lighting effects and lens effects as part of the composite.
