Module Aims

To engage students in methods of research and development to create innovative, market-focused solutions.

To create an awareness of the opportunities and challenges available across industry for entrepreneurial and intrapreneurial endeavour.

To encourage students to think outside of the box and explore alternative solutions and collaboration opportunities.

Content Summary

Students will investigate and research a specified area of the fashion industry and devise an innovative solution that would have market relevance.

Identification of real industry problems and the need for solutions will need to be evidenced through research.
This module encourages students to embrace blue-sky thinking principles and ambitions and consider future-proof solutions for specific issues and challenges.

Students will be encouraged to think about their industry focus in terms of preferred employment goals.

Technological advances in fashion and other industries and predictions of what comes next will characterise the direction of project outcomes.
