To develop a critical understanding of organisational leadership and its impact on strategic development, accountability and  governance within NHS Wales to support its future development

Content Summary

Organisational leadership with a particular focus on transformation 

Organisational culture and the integrated nature of values, mission and vision 

Organisational learning and development 

Change leadership and management 

Strategic planning process and associated models including PESTEL, internal audit, SWOT etc.

LO1 Critically evaluate the integrated nature of organisational leadership, strategy and governance and critically apply this theoretical understanding to contemporary practice within NHS Wales and it's future development.
LO2 Critically apply strategic planning models to analyse evidence-based issues within NHS Wales and Produce recommendations for Board level consideration.
