Module Aims

Enable students to generate, complete and present original, innovative design work, to a nationally recognised professional standard.

Provide a platform whereby students can engage directly in the wider issues of the industrial design environment, through entry in Nationally Recognised Competitions.

Further students’ knowledge of the interrelated nature of organisations and professional bodies operating within the commercial design industry.

Content Summary

Analysis of brief to provoke research methodologies; identifying the wider perspective of a problem and initiating relevant research  to include legal and financial considerations.

Initial idea generation and rendering: Production scheduling and time management. 

Presentation of initial concept design as well as development and testing to achieve the brief.Selection of final solution against Then to deliver the project using advanced techniques in visual effects or motion graphics.
