Module Aims

Enable students to:

Utilise, consolidate and extend their knowledge through the conception and completion of negotiated outcomes.

Employ specific processes that demonstrate the feasibility and practical potential of their major project proposal.

Develop new and existing skills through the application of in-depth research and critical evaluation of their work.

Content Summary

The purpose of this module is to provide students with the opportunity to begin executing their major project proposal in relation to their chosen specialism.

Students will explore and identify their own viable and appropriate production strategies for the sustained realisation of their major project proposal.

Further guidance and support will be provided during a series of lectures, seminar sessions, demonstrations and individual tutorials with relevant tutors.

Asynchronous Assessment Portfolio 1 A portfolio of work that supports and promotes the student’s chosen specialism and constitutes to the development of their major project. This may include environment designs, storyboard development or animation tests. All work submitted should include evidence of in-depth research activity and an iterative approach to all exercises set.
