Module Aims

Enable students to:

Create and complete an agreed body of work that exhibits a sophisticated understanding of their chosen specialist area and role.

Develop an advanced understanding of industry methodologies and key theories relevant to their future career goals.

Utilise, consolidate and extend their capabilities through detailed research activity and critical evaluation of their work.

Content Summary

The purpose of this module is to provide students with the opportunity to complete their major project proposal that fully exhibits their technical, aesthetic and intellectual abilities in relation to their chosen specialism.

Further guidance and support will be provided during a series of seminar sessions, demonstrations and individual tutorials with relevant tutors.

Asynchronous Assessment Portfolio 1 A portfolio of completed work that fully promotes the student’s ability in their chosen specialism. This may be a short-animated film, online portfolio or showreel. All work submitted should include evidence of in-depth research activity and an iterative approach to all exercises set.
