Module Aims
Enable students to:
Critique and contextualise their major project in relation to current debates and practices within their chosen specialism.
Identify and critically evaluate key theories and emerging discourses relevant to their chosen specialist area and development of work.
Utilise research, analysis, and communication skills to an advanced level through a written academic report.
Content Summary
The purpose of this module is to provide students with the opportunity to fully contextualise their major project in a written text, focusing on issues raised during its initiation, development and final completion.
Students will have the chance to critically analyse a wide range of academic research that was carried out, whilst rationalising its involvement in the development and completion of work.
Further guidance will be provided during a series of individual tutorials with the module leader.
