Module Aims

This module introduces learners to key concepts, themes, strategies and behaviours required to successfully lead digital transformation projects.

Content Summary

Successful digital transformation projects require leaders to have knowledge, skills, behaviours and attributes necessary to collaborate with diverse groups of individuals towards a common shared goal. They require leaders to establish a vision, and to communicate that visions in different ways to establish engagement and momentum for different groups.

Digital transformation requires individual and teams to change, to experiment, to innovate, and to work very differently than established practice.

For leaders to be successful on this journey, they must be self-aware, and willing to change their own leadership and management styles. They must use levels of emotional intelligence, and demonstrate a social and cultural awareness that ensures people engage with the proposals, and transform their own practice.

At all levels within an organisation individuals must lead, manage, and influence, in a variety of ways and at a variety of speeds.

This module will provide students with a range of concepts, exercises, case studies and discussions to provide a platform for leading digital transformation projects in the future.
