Module Aims

The module aims to provide a platform for students to apply their knowledge, skills, and understanding of digital transformation to investigate a real scenario from within either their own organisation or within current health and social care practice and produce a project proposal to support digital intervention and possible improvement.

Content Summary

This module provides the opportunity for students to utilise the skills, knowledge and behaviours developed in previous modules in the development of a digital transformation proposal for their host organisation or other health and social care provider.

The proposal should be fully researched, using appropriate research techniques to investigate the context or scenario from a range of critical perspectives.

The digital transformation proposal will be presented in an appropriate digital format to an audience including health and social care professionals from the stakeholder group and appropriate academics.

The proposal should include project management plans, risk assessment, and evidence that appropriate ethical guidelines have been considered.
