Content Summary
Introduction to crime scene investigation – CoC, contemporaneous notes, case & evidential management etc.
Forensic Phases, search warrants, pre-imaging etc. /legislation (PACE 1984, DPA etc.).

| Asynchronous Assessment | Field Folio 1 | A submission of work that may contain a number of elements that are applicable to the theory and skills demonstrated in the field environment. In the context of this module, this will include the Crime Scene House assessment, forensic analysis, and expert witness report. The students will be required to attend the crime scene house to collect their evidence, they will use this evidence within the forensic analysis, then use this analysis to write the expert witness report.
