Module Aims

The module aims to develop and enhance the employability of students by providing them with the opportunity to realise their personal aspirations and develop into the resilient, ethical, culturally aware and globally minded workforce of the future.

Content Summary

The module will provide personal and professional skills development support and guidance for postgraduate students.

Following the completion of a professional development plan (PDP) students will complete a series of workshops to develop their human resource management skills in the areas they identified as crucial for their career growth. During this process students will be signposted to workshops reflecting contemporary professional and practical human resource management practice. Delivered by industry experts and/or academic specialists the workshops will be organised around the USW Graduate Attributes of:

• Innovation and Enterprise
• Leadership
• Project Management

Students will accordingly be able to complete workshops tailored to address their individual needs.
