Module Aims
• This module will introduce students to a range of practical and theoretical tools to engage with Animation practice.
• It will enable students to develop their understanding of basic animation principles and drawing competences necessary for production in Animation.
Content Summary
• Students will participate in a series of immersive learning/ practical workshops that will support the study and analysis of action through drawing, photography and video.
• Students will be able to implement the academic and practical analysis of action; as well as the application of theoretical action analysis studies through the planning and execution of a range of short practical animation exercises;
• Students will be able to understand the relationship between sound and image and the visual interpretation in abstract form.
