Module Aims
• To develop skills in the use of the specific software for animation in 2D drawn or 3D stop-motion animation
• To introduce the student to acting and performance through animation
• To explore pre-production design techniques for animation production
Content Summary
• Students will work in guided practical workshops in order to understand the relationship between strong design for animated performance
• Students will Be introduced to research, concept and design techniques and software applications to apply to work
• As well as the above students will be introduced to the basic working practices in the animation software for 2D drawn, or 3D stop-motion animation, as appropriate to the students’ chosen specialist subject area
