Module Aims

To undertake a period of supervised time undertaking a specific role(s) within the photography industry, under the direction of an industry-based supervisor, with support from an academic supervisor and placement partner.

Content Summary

The Photography industry is a large entity consisting of a range of career opportunities and entrepreneurial prospects. Under supervision by an academic mentor, students will undertake significant placement(s) to fully articulate their role in a future industry. In this module, students will combine the creative and professional skills developed over the last two years in order to engage with a specific area of the broad photographic industries. This experience will be used to inform the final year of their academic programme.
