Module Aims

• To enable students to develop subject specific practical production and/or technical skills
• To enable students to begin to understand how their practical skills might be applicable to a workplace environment
• To develop critical and reflective skills pertinent to the subject area studied

Content Summary

The module enables students to apply previously acquired skills to design and realise a practical outcome to industry standard, based on a chosen narrative. The student will be required to produce a body of conceptual design work using techniques appropriate to the specialist area.
Throughout the module students will be encouraged to critically reflect on their own practical work and will be introduced to relevant theories and professional practices.
