Module Aims

Examine funding application process, and critically reflect on how they shape the design, delivery, and evaluation of funded projects.

Research, design, and present a (simulated) funding bid that reflect current requirements and expectations

To analyse different models of co-creation and consider how they affect performance production and management.

Content Summary

Students will develop a simulated project and prepare an Arts Council Wales (ACW) Funding bid. A written submission of the bid will be made using ACW paperwork. A verbal presentation of the bid will be part of a simulated ‘project pitching’ event.

Students will research project development methodologies and examine funded projects as case studies. Fundies policies, and agendas will be explored with support from partner organisations.

This module contains a six-week immersive learning element.

Synchronous Onsite Practical Assessment Simulation (Onsite) 1 Prepare a ‘project pitch’ to potential partners for a simulated Arts Council Wales funding bid.
