Module Aims

To explore current approaches to project development, Fundraising, and co-creation.

To facilitate direct communication and discourse with creative sector professionals.

To research and evaluate the impact production methodologies have on communities of practice, and cultural communities.

Content Summary

This module builds upon the Arts and Culture module at level 4. Drawing on our partner organisations, and guest speakers the module is focused on discursive seminars. Current discourses on project development, Co-creation, and Fundraising be explored in a range of contexts. There will be sessions delivered through the medium of the Welsh language, and British Sign language, with interpretation for those who require it.

Each student will research, and write a position paper on a selected theme, or context form the seminar series that interest them, or further their career prospects.

As a group, the students will collaborate to host a half day event that explores selected themes from the seminar series. The sessions for this sector focused event will be facilitated by individual students based on their position papers.
