Module Aims

Complete preparations for graduate employment by consolidating skills, CV’s, Networks, and workplace experiences.

To support the development of a personal business plan developed within the context of professional placements, and informed by their career plans and aspirations

To offer a graduate duration work-based learning experience, that allows students to assume positions of project leadership within the host organisation.

Content Summary

Graduate Portfolio is the culmination of the Professional Development (level 4), and Professional Placement (level5) modules. A 160-hour work-based learning experience, it is the final preparation for graduate employment. Students are encouraged to take this placement in a new setting, adding further depth to professional profiles. Focusing on Finance, Communications, and Audience/ Participant/Client development, students will consider their options for setting up an independent business that could partner with their host.
