Module Aims

This module will enable students to reflect and evaluate their own learning development and performance as they look to make the transition to the world of work, post registration. The module will provide an opportunity to critically appraise their performance against the professional registration requirements and build the beginnings of a lifelong CPD portfolio that reflects the four career development pillars (RCOT) of the profession. The module prepares students for facilitating the learning of others through supervision by understanding the underpinning pedagogy employed to build autonomous practitioners. Compassionate leadership, the need to engage in ongoing evidence-based practice, develop professional thinking and skills, and embrace lifelong learning will be explored.
